Citrine has been known for ages as a stone of class, prosperity, and divinity. It's a powerful stone, a Yin and Yang. I personally use it to bring in light into any new project, business, or adventure. I love gifted Citrine when friends open new businesses, since its known as a "Money Stone".

Natural Citrine is rare, and today most Citrine is the result of heat treatment of Amethyst.

Citrine is connected to the Solar Plexus (upper belly at the diaphragm) acting as the center of personal power and the Sacral Chakra (in the center of the lower belly) acting as the individual’s center of pleasure and passion — both sensually and creatively.

Citrine was known in the earliest times as "Sun stone" for how beautifully it capture the Sun. To the Romans, it was known as "Mercury", the messenger god, and it was used for carving intaglios.

Now, let's talk about the two chakras associate with Citrine

Solar plexus chakra is associated with motivation, willpower, and self-confidence. This chakra governs personality, ego, and identity, as well as personal freedom, choice, and authenticity. The Solar plexus chakra has a masculine energy and is symbolized by the color yellow Gold and its mantra is, "I can".

Sacral chakra, also nicknamed “the sex chakra,” “the social chakra,” and “the creation chakra.” Governing our reproductive systems and processes, sexuality, relationships, emotions, and sense of adventure. The sacral chakra has a feminine energy, symbolized by a flower and crescent moon and its mantra is, “I feel.”
